Next week DC will debut the 0 issue of Sword and Sorcery which marks the return of the much beloved character Amethyst of Gemworld. Created by Dan Mishkin in the 80s, Amy Winston was a teenage girl who found out she was secretly a princess of Kingdom called Gemworld….

I thought about approaching DC about this years back, because I was an Amethyst fan from issue 1 and would have loved to write it in a new version. Never got around to asking any further about it as Work Kept Interfering.
But if it’s in Christy’s hands, I can just sit back and put my feet up and watch her work it. She is an old friend of the household and I can’t WAIT. :)
I want this but I live in fear because…DC.
